This is a sad day here in San Diego.
The above mentioned store is closing after 40 yrs of service to the body of Christ. In January there will be a huge sale to clear existing inventory. Recently, I have had the privilege of joining his monthly prayer meeting on the first Monday each month, primarily for pastors with the common goal of reaching San Diego for Christ. I personally was only able to make it about 4x per year over the last few years, but I interacted with him on other occasions as well. John is a very humble man of God with a zeal for God and His Glory. He has always been fully submitted to God’s sovereign will throughout these very difficult years.

There are countless stories of the many people who have come to understand the doctrines of grace and our rich Puritan forefathers, as well as conversions to Christ, all through their long ministry to the community of San Diego.
