Edification Ministries

HOME FELLOWSHIP GROUPS

Home fellowship groups occur in two different locations, Kearny Mesa and South Bay. The groups cover a variety of Biblical topics and have time devoted to prayer. It's a great opportunity to be encouraged throughout the week and also to live life together as a church family. We also encourage bringing neighbors and friends to these meetings.

GBC’s Spanish ministry meet twice per mouth and has proven to be a great time of edification!

MEN’S MINISTRY

It is vital that the men in the church meet for fellowship and accountability. On the first and third Tuesdays of each month, men meet together at the church for accountability, discipleship, and prayer. There are also regular men’s breakfasts held on designated Saturday mornings.

WOMEN’S MINISTRY

The women of the church meet on the second and fourth Thursday evening of each month for a time in the Word, prayer, and fellowship. Titus 2:3-5 is the model that we seek to follow when planning our women’s ministry events.

Children’s Ministry

Children ages four and older are encouraged to be with their families during our main worship service. However, during the adult Prayer Meeting, there are children’s Sunday School classes available for ages 3-17. Chronological lessons through the Bible with an emphasis on the Gospel are the focus of study.

NURSERY

Using the nursery is optional, but it is offered each Sunday to families for children ages 0-3. The nursery is staffed with caring women (or couples) who are church members. There are strict guidelines for the safety of the children entrusted to our care.

Mercy Ministry

Ministries of mercy at GBC are taken seriously. This ministry includes seeking to meet the needs of the sick, those who have recently given birth, as well as military wives whose husbands are on deployment.

Music Ministry

At GBC you will find God-centered worship with a blend of traditional hymns and carefully selected modern hymns and choruses.
